Both of those assumptions are very Western…because in the East, which is where we borrowed these practices from MEN who designed it…you can be poor wearing rags and require nothing more than your body to practice. This is the convenience of body weighted exercise…you don’t need a gym or studio technically. It’s nice to have all the bosu bells and pan flute whistles, but really all you need is you, yourself and to try.
